PureVision™ Do’s and Don’ts
Do wash your hands before you handle your lenses - every time!
Do carefully follow your optometrist’s advice and instructions.
Do attend aftercare appointments as recommended by your optometrist.
Do advise your optometrist if you smoke.
Do inform your optometrist if you suffer from allergies such as hayfever.
Do discard your lenses on a monthly basis.
Do always use fresh and unexpired lens care solutions.
Do remove your lenses if you experience any discomfort. Consult your optometrist without delay if it persists or recurs.
Do have a pair of spectacles available if you need to remove your lenses.
Do keep fingernails short and rounded.
Do not use non-sterile solutions such as saliva, tap water, bottled water and unpreserved saline with your lenses.
Do not use “old” lenses, solutions or cases.
Do not wear make-up on the inner edge of your eyelids.
Do not keep mascara longer than three months.
Do not allow hairspray or other cosmetic aerosols to come into contact with your lenses.
Do not apply any kind of drops or eye medication without first consulting your optometrist.
Do not wear your lenses for longer than recommended by your optometrist.
Do not wear your lenses if your eyes are red or uncomfortable. Remove them and call your optometrist immediately.
Remember if in doubt... take them out!!!
